Who we are
Established on March 15, 2003, under the Society Registration Act of 1860, Sarva Seva Samity Sanstha (4S India) is a non-profit organization committed to uplifting marginalized and vulnerable communities.
4S India operates in 1,312 villages across 36 districts in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh, impacting over 1.96 lakhs or 0.2 million people, including small and marginal farmers and other vulnerable groups.

Our Journey at a glance

- Formation & Registration under Society Registration Act 21, 1860 (under the guidance of Shri Vijay Mahajan by ASSEFA Volunteers) Aim- Work with the unreached and excluded

- Extensive work on SHG formation and pioneered promotion of women federation in Bihar,2005. Worked with IGS and WDC in supporting promotion of 23 more women Federationsn in Bihar

- Support to IGS and work on federation , livelihood project and Irrigation . Shri Vijay Mahajan became President and introduction of professional board

- Executive Director & new professionals joined, New projects started, Norms & policies drafted, Meetings formalized, Geographical area & thematic area expanded, Action research wing established. Governance being strengthened
