4S support the Farmers/ Micro entrepreneurs/FPOs in aggregating their input and output demands and link them with various institutional buyers /distant markets /e commerce platforms.

4S provide the required support and capacity building of micro entrepreneurs /FPO in sorting /grading, local value addition, product design, quality control, packing, branding and marketing their value-added products. 4S also provide necessary supporting in get necessary finance, subsidy, licenses and help them set up proper accounting and MIS system and ensure viability and profitability of their business.

Micro-enterprise development through market linkages in Bihar and Jharkhand

Input and Output Support to CBOs: 4S is working for increasing sustainable investment in agribusinesses and increasing the economic opportunities for agri- value chain actors with engagement of small and marginal holder farmers of Eastern India. The project intends to- (a) Strengthen community institutions to become market ready and front liners in agri-businesses, (b) Enable more small holders to engage with commercial markets, and (c) demonstrate commercial viability of agribusinesses with significant supply chains. This initiative is being undertaken with support from Samunnati and DeHaat.

Mentoring Support to Returnee Migrants on Micro Enterprise Development : 4S with Fedns and support from RGF is providing mentoring and handholding support to 100 micro entrepreneurs in Bihar .

Micro-enterprise development using Renewable Energy in Uttar Pradesh

Micro-enterprise development through renewable energy: 4S has partnered with Smart Power for Rural Development India Foundation (SPI) and MLinda to take an initiative to increase the solar energy consumption of micro grids with promotion of Agri- business through village level micro-enterprises. The project supported FPO and local entrepreneurs for setting up agri-processing units (Honey Processing Units and Mustard oil Processing Units) for enhancing their livelihoods of local farmers by doing local value addition, provide employment locally and also helping improve the mini grid solar plants performance and consumption the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and UP.
