Women are one focused target clients of the organization. Since its inception, 4S has been working with a large number of rural women in Bihar, mostly from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Mahadalit community, Extremely Backward Caste (EBC) and from BPL families.

It has been working for organizing the rural poor and vulnerable women, federating them into their own institutions, educating them about their rights and entitlements, capacitating them to raise their voice against any social issues like gender discrimination, malnutrition, poor maternal & child health, early age at marriage, dowry, domestic violence, etc. and promoting them as a change maker of socio-economic upliftment. Currently, about half of the total client base of 4S is women.
